CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

 

Introduction

Deadline for the submission of abstracts: Saturday, May 31, 2008.

Participants who would like to present an oral or poster presentation must submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee. The abstracts should be submitted in English and arrive no later than Saturday, May 31, 2008.

The Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted as oral or poster presentations, with consideration to be given to the author’s preference.

The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.

Only the abstracts of registered presenting authors will be included in the program and book of abstracts.

Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the website prior to the Conference.

Submission

Abstracts should be submitted only via the Conference emial at the link below. (Please do not make multiple submissions of the same abstract).

Abstracts submitted by fax will not be accepted.

Preparation of Presentations

Instructions for preparation of posters will be sent together with the acceptance notification.

Proceedings

The manuscripts selected by the Conference Publication Committee will be published as full papers in the peer-reviewed high quality journal.

Proceedings from the previous conference were published in a special issue of this "Cellular Immunology".

Rules for submission to the Conference

  • All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
  • An individual may appear as presenting author on only one (1) abstract (not counting invited lectures). The presenting author is expected to attend the conference and present the poster or oral. There is no limit to the number of abstracts a person can appear on as co-author.  
  • Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by July 31, 2008 will be scheduled for presentation and included in the Book of Abstracts.
  • The Scientific Committee will review abstracts and information regarding acceptance, and scheduling will be sent to the corresponding author
Guidelines for Submission

Before you begin, please prepare the following information:

  • Presenting author's contact details; include full mailing address, office hours phone number and email address.
  • Presentation type preference (poster presentation / oral presentation)
  • Author or authors' names: initial(s) of first name(s), family name
  • Affiliation details of all authors: department; institution / hospital; city; state (if relevant); country
  • Abstract title (limited to 20 words) in UPPER CASE
  • Figures, tables or graphs which you wish to include in the abstract should be image files. Images should be submitted in JPG/BMP format, maximum width 13cm, maximum height 18cm and resolution up to 150dpi.
  • Abstract text – limited to 300 words, font-Times New Roman (12), line spacing 1.0.
    We recommend using word-processing software (for example MS Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words.
  • Abstract topic – please prepare topic after consulting the list of topics.
